Our customer is a privately held company based in Frankfurt, Germany with affiliates across Europe, as well as the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Asia Pacific with approximately 3,000 employees worldwide. The company is active in research, development, production, and distribution of innovative products in the areas of neurologically induced movement disorders and aesthetic medicine. For the Therapeutics Group we are looking to welcome a Sustainability Manager Pharma (m/f/d) in fulltime and permanent contract.

Sustainability Manager Pharma (m/f/d)

Role Contribution

As Sustainability Manager (m/f/d), you will play a key role in the development and success of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy within our Central Commercial Organization department. Here, your role is to lead the Therapeutics business on a renewable path by managing, developing, and driving our integrated sustainability strategy, climate protection activities and selected implementation projects. Specifically, your tasks are as follows:

Main Responsibilities

• Continuously refine and drive implementation of the short to long-term sustainability strategy and lead the BU´s strategic development of further sustainability topics
• Leading an international, cross-departmental project group for sustainability and working with local sustainability ambassadors in our subsidiaries as well as the Company Group
• Integration of sustainability as a key component in relevant internal standard processes and reporting
• Preparing updates for the Therapeutics Leadership Team and the Company Group, highlighting progress against strategic objectives and performance indicators
• Accompanying of measures and progress through transparent internal and external communication
• Preparing upcoming external CSR reporting and ensuring compliance with the current and evolving regulatory environment

Your Profile

• University degree, experienced project leader with sustainability expertise (experience as CSR Manager, CSR Consultant or similar)
• Biotech/ pharmaceutical industry background or relevant industry experience is desired
• Excellent knowledge of English (written & spoken), German desired
• Sound communication skills with the ability to influence and make recommendations on a senior level on areas ranging from strategy to policy, governance, process, reporting and business planning
• Subject matter excellence coupled with first informal leadership skills
• Solid project and budget management skills combined with high energy to set dynamic pace for delivery
• Strong project management skills and a hands-on mentality complete your profile
